Invitation for abstracts: USNCCM13, San Diego

We invite our colleagues to submit abstracts to the following minisymposia at 13th U.S. National Congress on Computational Mechanics (USNCCM13) held in San Diego, California, USA – July 26-30, 2015:

Reza and Robert B. Haber from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champiagn: “Fracture Mechanics: A Probabilistic Perspective” .
Reza and Scott Miller from the PennState University: “Scalable adaptive and multiscale algorithms for high performance computing” .

 

PhD Student Reza Razavi joins the group

Mr. Razavi arrived in the US on 08/07/2014 to pursue a PhD degree from the Fall 2014 semester.

Postdoc Omid Omidi Joins our research group

On 03/31/2014 Dr. Omidi joins our research group to work on probabilistic fracture modeling.

Our papers:

Riemann solutions and spacetime discontinuous Galerkin method for linear elastodynamic contact
Riemann solutions for spacetime discontinuous Galerkin methods

are accepted in Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering and Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, respectively.

The 11th World Congress on Computational Mehcanics will be held July 20-25, 2014 in Barcelon Spain along with 5th European Conference on Computational Mechanics (ECCM V) and 6th European Conference on Computational Fluid Dynamics (ECFD VI).
